Stop Breaking Your Brain

Your brain is a part of your body. I know it sounds simple, but have you ever thought about your mind in that way before?
We immediately notice when we accidentally swipe our finger along the edge of a page. The paper cut burns, and we react. However, in the grand scheme of things, a paper cut is hardly worth noticing at all.
It seems that the most dangerous items are often more difficult to notice. No one can predict that they’re going to have a heart attack in an hour. The years of unhealthy eating and sedentary lifestyle may have given us a hint that it was coming, but there was no visceral reaction like with the paper cut.
In the same way, our brain needs us to be proactive. The damage we do it, whether in the form of what we put into our mouths, ears, eyes, or elsewhere, will eventually catch up to us. The decay will break the structure unless we do something now to reverse it.
What can you do today to improve your brain by even 1%?
